NOTICE OF FILING FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Grove City will accept filings of Affidavit of Candidacy forms for the following elective offices to be voted on at the Municipal General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
- Mayor – Two-Year Term
- Council Member – Four-Year Term
- Council Member – Four-Year Term
The first day for filing Affidavits of Candidacy is the opening of business on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and the last day for filing is Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Filing Affidavits must be submitted to the City Clerk at Grove City Hall, 210 Atlantic Ave W, Grove City, MN 56243. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed Friday). The filing fee is $2.00.
Candidates may withdraw their names from the ballot by filing an affidavit of withdrawal with the city clerk no later than Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
