The City of Grove City is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Public Works team!

PUBLIC WORKS ASSISTANT

Pay: $25.00 – 30.00 per hour, plus health insurance stipend.
Additional pay incentives available for obtaining and maintaining water, wastewater, and electric licenses.

Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining City streets, alleys, parks, and public property
• Operating snowplows, mowers, sweepers, and other equipment
• Assisting with water, sewer, wastewater, and electrical systems
• Equipment and vehicle maintenance and repair
• Meter reading and utility maintenance
• Snow and ice removal
• Assisting with electrical distribution system maintenance
• Responding to emergency and on-call situations
• Other Public Works duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minnesota Class B CDL or ability to obtain one
• Willingness to obtain required licenses and training
• Public works, utility, construction, mechanical, or equipment experience preferred
